Back	SAIT & Colmar SAIT - Colmar 2015 AIM 2015 RFID Case Study Competition Participant The goal of the Colmar RFID project was to optimize the procedures for receiving and shipping goods, automating the process of counting and verification of the goods and supporting the operations of packing and shipping . The garments products, both technical and fashionable, reach the venue of Monza in boxes or clotheshorse by container or truck in large quantities. The accuracy of the amount received and the speed of movement of these garments are key elements for Colmar operability. At the same time the composition of packages and shipments, organized by customer, must be made on time and accurately, avoiding errors on the content but also concerning the fore / courier. On this basis, the analysis of operating flows and wishes have shown that the introduction of RFID technology in the processes of warehouse management could be a valuable support to those needs, representing a starting point for the adoption of better solutions than other business processes.
